WorldKey Elite LLC ("WorldKey," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the rights you have over it.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Account & application data: name, email, phone number, date of birth, location, profession, company, LinkedIn or Instagram handle, and any other information you submit on your application or profile.
• Payment data: billing details processed and stored by our payment processor (Stripe). WorldKey does not store full card numbers.
• Verification data: identity verification documents you submit, including selfies and government IDs, processed via our verification provider.
• Communications: messages you send us through email, SMS, or in-app chat.

Information We Collect Automatically

• Device & log data: IP address, browser, device type, operating system, referring pages, and timestamps.
• Usage data: pages viewed, features used, and actions taken inside the platform.
• Cookies and similar technologies: used to maintain your session, remember preferences, and measure performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To review your application and verify your identity.
• To create, secure, and operate your member account.
• To process membership payments and manage loyalty credits.
• To send transactional notifications (account, payments, verification, security).
• To deliver member benefits, including identifying you to partner venues when you initiate a booking.
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security issues.
• To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
• With your consent, to send you marketing communications (you can opt out at any time).

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only as described below:

• Partner venues: when you initiate a reservation, we may share your name, member status, and contact details with the venue solely so they can recognize you as a WorldKey member and complete your booking.
• Service providers: processors that help us run the platform (payments via Stripe, SMS via Twilio, email via SendGrid, identity verification, hosting, analytics, push notifications). These providers may only use your information to perform services for us.
• Legal & safety: when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of WorldKey, our members, or others.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case the receiving party will be required to honor this Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see Section 7).

5. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor due diligence. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we work continuously to protect your data.

6. International Users

WorldKey is operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have data-protection laws different from those in your country.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you;
• Request correction of inaccurate information;
• Request deletion of your information;
• Object to or restrict certain processing;
• Receive a portable copy of your information;
• Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not sell personal information), and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights.

European Residents (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our lawful bases for processing include contract performance, our legitimate interests in operating the Services, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent (where applicable). You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, contact privacy@worldkey.club and we will delete it.

9. Cookies

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Some features of the Services may not function correctly without cookies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" at the top will indicate when it was last revised. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
